Welcome to my personal website, where I share my projects, thoughts, and passions. My name is Jason Byer, and I am a full-stack web developer, currently based in Plano, Texas.

A little bit about me:

I have been in the internet industry since before Y2K when I was working part-time at a web agency while going to school full time. Since then, I have expanded my skill set by learning many other languages, frameworks and development tools such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, and more.

I will add more details and demos of these and other projects on my portfolio page. So keep checking!

Currently, I am working as a software developer at A+E Networks, a leading entertainment company in the US and international markets. I am part of the marketing team, where I'm part of the team that develops and maintains the user interface and user experience of the corporate website, corporate internet and multiple consumer facing assets. I enjoy working with a talented and diverse team of developers, designers, and product managers, who constantly challenge me and help me grow.

I am also always learning new things and exploring new technologies. Some of the topics I am interested in right now are:

• Artificial intelligence and machine learning, especially how they can be applied to web development and user interaction.
• Blockchain and cryptocurrency, and how they can revolutionize the way we exchange value and trust online.
• Web accessibility and performance, and how to make the web more inclusive and fast for everyone.
• Internet marketing and multiple income streams.

My goal as a developer is to create meaningful and impactful solutions that can improve the lives of people and the world. I believe that technology can be a powerful tool for positive change, and I want to use my skills and knowledge to contribute to that.

I also hope to inspire and help other aspiring developers, especially those from underrepresented and marginalized groups, to pursue their dreams and passions. I think that diversity and inclusion are essential for innovation and creativity, and I want to be part of a community that supports and celebrates that.
